We just got back from a two day meeting in Norwich with the snapdragon labs (Coen and Barton). Very interesting parallels between the two system. I think we should have more cross-system meetings.
We welcome two people to the lab this term, first Prof. Adriana Briscoe who is here to collaborate on analysis of the chemosensory genes in our genome sequence data, and second, Denise Dalbosco, who is a new PhD student from Brazil, co-supervised with Martin Stevens
