The Heliconius melpomene genome and many other lepidopteran genomes are available on LepBase, as well as at ENSEMBL. LepBase is supported by a grant from the BBSRC awarded to us with Mark Blaxter.

Earthcape specimen and lab database
This database is used to keep track of specimens and crosses in the lab. If you don’t have an account you can see data with the Username ‘Anonymous’ (no password needed). If you want to find specimens associated with a publication please navigate to ‘Record Sets’ and look for the relevant title. There is an FAQ page on how to use the database.

Although it is no longer maintained, ButterflyBase is a public database of all genbank-submitted leidopteran EST sequences in a clustered and annotated format. A more recent incarnation including next-gen data is InsectaCentral.
